Who We Are

D&G Excavating Services, INC was founded by Darryl Davis in Fayetteville, NC. At the age of 7 Darryl went to work with his father on weekends and during the summer. His father taught him how to operate heavy machinery equipment and how to repair almost anything with a motor. He learned to love working outside with his father. Darryl joined the United States Marine Corps after graduating from high school and returned to Fayetteville after service to his country. He knew he did not want a cookie cutter 9-5 job working on the same thing repeatedly. So he started a trucking company. While he loved traveling the open roads, he was a family man and being on the highway kept him away from home for extended periods of time. In 2005 he founded D&G Excavating Services. It took time to get established but with dedication and commitment, Darryl worked hard to develop a strong customer base and following. He started off demolishing local houses and has since expanded to federal contract projects. He has certifications in OSHA, DBE and Safety. Darryl is a devoted husband, father, friend and trusted Big Brother to many!
